NATFHE members are covered by a collective policy giving them FREE insurance cover for serious accident or hospitalisation:

• NATFHE Personal Accident Insurance provides compensation of £10,000* in respect of accidental death, or serious injury resulting in total and permanent disablement preventing the member engaging in or attending to usual business.

*This free cover is available when the accident arises out of a member's employment. An accident away from work is covered by compensation of £2,000.

• And if you are hospitalised for more than five consecutive days as a result of an insured accident (caused by external and visible means), NATFHE Hospitalisation Benefits entitle you to financial assistance of £100 per week. (Claims must be made within 14 days of any event. In cases of death, written notice must be given before interment.)
