NATFHE has a national team of staff with expertise in the equality field. They implement the policies and priorities determined by members through the democratic lay structures.

The Equality Unit has two full-time and two half-time members of staff, based at NATFHE’s Head Office near Kings Cross Station in London, 27 Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JP.

Has overall responsibility for the work of the Unit, including national negotiations on equality policies, producing advice and guidance for branches, responding to Government consultations, servicing NATFHE’s equality structures, co-ordinating networks, producing newsletters, servicing the TUC equality conferences etc.
