Time limits

There are strict time limits for pursuing matters in the Employment Tribunals and courts. In the limited space available we are unable to list all the relevant time limits. A selection of the most commonly pursued statutory rights and the applicable time limit is shown in the Time Limits document.

Please note that the tribunal must receive the application before the expiry of the time limit. For further information on time limits and Employment Tribunal proceedings go to www.employmenttribunals.gov.uk.


...in the case of an employment- related personal accident or injury, industrial disease or road traffic accident (including during travel to and from work), you should use NATFHE's Accident Line . You may also be eligible for compensation under the union's Collective Personal Accident Insurance Scheme .
