EDM supporting the NATFHE/AUT pay campaign launched contact your MP now!
Gordon Marsden, Labour MP for Blackpool South and member of the Education and Skills Select Committee, has tabled an Early Day Motion (EDM) in the House of Commons supporting the NATFHE/AUT pay campaign and urging employers to seek a settlement. The EDM has already received cross-party support and we will be writing nationally to all MPs this week urging them to sign it. However it is crucial that NATFHE members themselves write to their MPs and urge them to sign the EDM. MPs always respond best to contact from their constituents. The more names that are on the bottom of the EDM, the more pressure there will be on the employers to do this. Email your MP using the website and model letter below and ask them to sign up to the EDM.
